Anja Ritter

Anja Ritter from West-Austria is a heart-engaged sociocracy consultant, mom, and philosopher, trying to make the world a little better. She accompanies organizations (industry, education, co-housing, local government) by introducing SCM. Anja Ritter leads in the Association of German-speaking Sociocracy Centers the Sociocracy Center "Bodensee" (Lake Constance), this is in the triangle between Switzerland, Germany and Austria. ----- Anja Ritter aus West-Österreich ist eine engagierte Soziokratie-Beraterin, Mutter und Philosophin, die versucht, die Welt ein wenig besser zu machen. My childhood was quite diverse. I have often moved and very early on I had the opportunity to get to know unconventional forms of living (communities), alternative educational concepts, completely different cultures and interesting people from all over the world.
After education as an office manager and an initially discontinued course in philosophy and political science (I finished it in 2011), I started my professional career in open youth work. With the experience in my luggage that individual abilities develop when you place a lot of trust in people, the interest in suitable participatory methods and various training courses, I began to accompany organizations in development processes and people in participation processes myself. In doing so, sociocracy found me and never let go of me. During the first consent-decision I experienced, I felt the huge potential for all possible compositions where people want to be effective. It was immediately clear to me what I wanted to do in the future: bring even more of it into the world!
The positive impact that arises when people – regardless of their age – are not only heard, but actually also help to find creative solutions, participate in decision-making and take responsibility for their decisions, is enormous and moves me (now Certified Sociocracy Expert CSE) again and again.

Meine Kindheit war recht vielfältig. Ich bin oft umgezogen und hatte schon sehr früh die Gelegenheit unkonventionelle Wohn- und Lebensformen (Kommunen), alternative Bildungskonzepte, ganz andere Kulturen und interessante Menschen von überall her kennen zu lernen.
Nach einer Ausbildung zur Officemanagerin und einem vorerst abgebrochenen Studium der Philosophie und Politikwissenschaften (2011 beendete ich es dann doch noch) startete ich meinen beruflichen Weg in der Offenen Jugendarbeit. Mit der Erfahrung im Gepäck, dass individuelle Fähigkeiten zur Entfaltung kommen, wenn man Menschen viel Vertrauen schenkt, dem Interesse an geeigneten partizipativen Methoden und verschiedenen Fortbildungen, begann ich 2009 selbst Organisationen bei Entwicklungs- und Menschen bei Beteiligungsprozessen zu begleiten. Dabei fand mich die Soziokratie und ließ mich nicht mehr los. Während der ersten erlebten Konsententscheidung spürte ich das Riesen-Potential für alle möglichen Zusammensetzungen, wo Menschen wirksam sein wollen. Da war mir sofort klar, was ich in Zukunft tun wollte: Noch mehr davon in die Welt bringen!
Die positive Wirkkraft, die entsteht, wenn Menschen – egal welchen Alters – nicht nur gehört werden, sondern tatsächlich auch an der kreativen Lösungsfindung mitarbeiten, mitentscheiden und Verantwortung für ihre Entscheidungen tragen, ist enorm und bewegt mich (jetzt zertifizierte Soziokratieexpertin CSE) immer wieder aufs Neue.
